3 days in the trails of Peaks of the Balkans

Hike Valbone – Çerem
Distance: 19.8 km

The trip starts from 7:30 am at the Visitor Center, Rugova Valley, Peje. After 1 hour and 30 mins transfer by car you arrive in Valbone which is the starting point. To go in Cerem you can follow two trails: Preslopi Pass or the plateaus trail.

Prelsopi pass is higher and offers you great views of steepy peaks of Kollata (can be climbed as well).

Around 5 pm you arrive in Cerem for your accommodation. The dinner is served around 7 pm.

Hike Çerem – Vusanje
Distance: 15 km

Today, breakfast is served at 8 am and the hike starts from 10:00 am. The trail goes between two shepherd’s villages that are inhabited during summer only, so they can use the pastures. The trail to Vusanje goes towards Doberdol to arrive in Bori Pass. The hike continues towards the west side where you reach Vusanje, the destination for the day. The accommodation in the guesthouse is between 5 pm and the dinner is served around 7:00 pm.

Hike Vusanje – Plave
Distance: 27 km

At 8:00 am, breakfast is served. The hike starts at 10:00 am. The trail goes through lots of villages used for pastures and frequented by the shepherds. This hike represents a hike in Montenegro’s mountains without having to cross any border. After your hike, a private transfer will take you in Peje.

The rooms are shared between the group; internet and phone signal (except in Cerem)l; food; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; drinkable water. Lunch box included in the 2nd and 3rd day.
